1. Lie on your back with your arms across your chest or behind your head.
2. By contracting your abs, slowly move your upper body towards your knees.  Do not bend your neck.
3. Slowly return to the starting position.

There is nothing more overrated than ab exercises. You do want to work your abs occasionally to keep your core strong, but there is no need to do ab exercises every day at the gym. Keep in mind that you indirectly work your abs every time you do compound exercises!
